What is the Short Course about?
This course explores how teachers can move from consumers to creators of research. It provides an introduction to research design and methodology, data collection and research ethics. With a focus on practitioner enquiry, participants will engage in planning their own research rooted in an issue identified in their own classroom with a view to improving or exploring a specific aspect of their practice.
This course flows naturally from the Short Course: Unpacking Educational Research and these two course together would make an excellent choice for schools/teachers looking to strengthen their research informed practice.
